Meticulously handcrafted by Giusi Buono, this anthropomorphic figurines of prickly pear cactus-pad represents the Holy Family: Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus
This Nativity Set will remain in your family for years to come. It is a celebration of Love and Family, in a Sicilian style. The decorative motives of traditional sicilian wheel carts brings a highly recognizable, distinctive mark to FicuJoseph's and FicuMary's clothes, enriching the sculptures and making them one-of-a-kind. Baby Jesus has a brass halo on his head. The Holy FicuFamily is available in three versions: red, blue and yellow.

Small wood knots and slight imperfections of painting may occur. I believe it makes each figure unique in it’s own way.

Sculptures are made entirely by hand; they therefore cannot be faithful reproductions of themselves.
Their faces and expressions in particular, although “standardized”, are unique.
The decorative motifs found on FicuLei and FicuLui's clothes are repeated but their details may vary.
For each piece, going from raw wood to finished product takes 6 hours.

Each piece comes with Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Giusi Buono, in a packaging which includes a black cardboard box, wood wool, presentation postcard.
